Come out for a fun afternoon in the garden at Montford North Star Academy and help create a wonderful habitat for the birds, bees, butterflies and other important critters.

All year, students have been engaged in a project-based learning unit envisioning and designing a pollinator garden.  Now it’s time to start the installations so it can be buzzing with life!  Pollinators are crucial to our existence. In fact 1 in 3 bites of food is courtesy of these busy friends.

You’ll be weeding and prepping the hillside, planting flowers and shrubs and making a beautiful space for the school community.
