Bring your lunch and join Haywood Waterways and partners HydroCycle Engineering and Ecosystem Services to discuss an idea that protects stream banks from erosion while also providing food for residents and communities, as well as new farming opportunities. Sediment is Haywood County’s number one water quality problem and one of the top sources is eroding stream banks, something that can be easily fixed by planting trees and shrubs.

Thursday, April 26, 12:30 to 1:30 PM

Waynesville Public Library Auditorium, 678 South Haywood Street, Waynesville, NC

RSVP at 828-476-4667 or info@haywoodwaterways.org.
