Join the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy and members of the NC Audubon Society for a beginner birding walk in West Asheville.

Spring is upon us, and birds are making quite an appearance in Asheville! SAHC’s Breakfast With The Birds walk is an introductory level bird outing where participants will learn how to use binoculars and techniques to identify birds.  The outing will be a leisurely two mile walk along the French Broad River Greenway with plenty of opportunities to spot local birds and wildlife.

Members of Audubon society are excited to partner with SAHC for this walk to share with others the endless birding possibilities in this region. You can enjoy birding in urban areas or even your own backyard!

FREE and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. Due to the educational nature of this walk, participation will be limited to 15 people — so sign up soon!
