Bats are a vital part of our local ecosystem, but also face many challenges! Join Warren Wilson College at the Asheville Museum of Science for a workshop to learn about the amazing diversity of bats living in Western North Carolina and how they interact with their environment, including people. You’ll also help contribute to bat conservation by constructing bat boxes that will be installed in Asheville by a community partner. Two 1.5 hour workshops designed for the public of all ages will be offered at 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

You Helped Make Our First Year a Success!

Over the month of April, 733 people volunteered their time with 23 nonprofit groups to take part in 58 workdays and service opportunities throughout WNC!  Our business and community challenge also brought 11 business teams and community groups into the fold.

Thank you!
